Schools will be invoiced directly.

Schools may register as many Year 2 players as they want. We have limited this programme to the Year
2’s only this year as we feel that this age group is able gain the most
benefit.

Netball Kapiti will put teams together on the first day – we
just require schools to provide to us the Individual Registration forms.
·
No uniforms please.
·
All equipment is supplied by Netball Kapiti.
·
Each school is required to have a STAR HELPER COACH per 8
individual registrations. They will
assist in supervising and coaching a team.
All STAR HELPERS are required to attend a free 1.5 hour training
workshop. Please see the dates for the
STAR HELPERS workshop as STAR HELPERS must attend workshops prior to start of
the programme.

STAR HELPERS maybe: Teachers, Parents, Caregivers, Older
siblings at Secondary school or anyone interested in developing young players.
·
Junior Netball Coordinators are required to facilitate the
programme. We are seeking Coordinators
and will provide all necessary training.
Please advise if your school can provide 1 Coordinator.

ANZ futureFERNS is Netball New Zealand’s official junior Netball programme for Year 1 - 8 children.
To ignite a lifelong involvement in Netball, a sequential programme has been developed that is at the right level for the players at each stage. The emphasis is on fun activities conducted in a safe environment. Small sided games are the preferred training method and are proven to be the most appropriate way to enhance skill and tactical development.
ANZ futureFERNS is focused on enabling individuals to experience personal achievements and the benefits for the players and parents are:
