PRIMARY SCHOOL DUTY – MORNING SET UP
Duty School to Report to Duty Board Member at the Control Room no later than 7.50am ensuring
that
At least 8 adults are available for set up duty alongside the duty teams.
Under the direction of the Duty Board Member the primary duty school is responsible for the
following activities which must be completed by 08.20 am
Collect 22 Post Pads from the store room and take 2 out to each court o Post Pads Are Named and should be matched to the court signage (check by looking
at advertising signs aligned to each court)
o Post Pads should be placed on the post and zipped up progressively while sliding the
pad up the post
Collect 10 Future Fern (Blue) hoops from store room.
o 1 Hoop to be taken to the outside (furthest from the centre fence) end of each court
(1-10)
o Turn the standard hoops at the furthest ends around so that the net is facing away
from the court
o Mount 1 Blue Future Ferns Hoop to the Bracket using the lifting pole
o The fixed hoop goes on the outside edge of each court (Furthest from the centre
fence)
Locate the 10 Freestanding posts inside the court 6-10 area
o One Freestanding hoop should be placed centrally on the transverse line closest to
the centre fence (1 hoop per court) opposite the outer end goalposts
PRIMARY SCHOOL DUTY – ROUND CHANGEOVER (9.45 AM)
Duty School to Report to Duty Board Member at the Control Room no later than 9.40 am, ensuring
that at least 6 adults are available for round changeover
o Take Future Fern hoops down, turn the post around and return blue hoops to the
store room,
o Move the 10 movable posts back inside the court 6-1 area locating 2 against the
centre fence at the end of court 6, 4 around the lighting pole between court 7/8 and
4 beside the gate between courts 8/9
o this is required to be done quickly in order for the next round to start on time at
10am, if needed ask. Ask for help from other spectators.
At Waikanae School we participate in the winter season tournament held at Te Atitawa Courts in Paraparaumu on Saturday mornings. We cater for Years 1-8. We also participate in Twilight netball through the off season with Year 6/7/8 students.

New Uniform Update
We have been incredibly let down by the company we have purchased a lot of school clothing through which means we will not be getting new uniforms to wear this year.
This is incredibly disappointing.

Year 6 2017 Development Programme
YEAR 6 RIBBON PROGRAMME FOR 2017 - We will be selecting participants for the Year 6 Development Programme for 2017. If you are currently Year 5 and would like to be considered for this programme you will need to pick up a ribbon from the control room by Saturday 9th July. Netballers will need to wear their ribbons from Saturday 30th July until the season finishes.
When you collect your ribbon, please complete the registration form available in the control room so we have your contact details.
