The Netball Kapiti Board have met and have indicated that Primary Schools will begin their netball season on Saturday 10th May.
Initially all teams were going to start on the 3rd May however it has been decided that Club and College will begin on the 3rd for their grading and Primary will start their grading the following week.
I'm sure this will suit everybody much better.
Grading day will consists of several short 20min games. It will be run similar to a tournament system.
Feedback to the board last year indicated the grading system needed to change and so this strategy has been adopted for this season. Getting teams into the correct grade for the season is crucial.
